Before using the household accounting service "MoneyUP" provided by HONG KONG AIYOU AIYOU Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as "the Company"), please be sure to agree to these terms.
1. General Provisions1.1 This Agreement sets forth the terms and conditions for using the smartphone household accounting application "MoneyUP" (hereinafter referred to as "the Application") and its related services (collectively referred to as "the Services") provided by the Company. Users must agree to this Agreement before using the Services.
1.2 The Services are for personal household financial management purposes only and may not be used for commercial purposes. Commercial use includes but is not limited to using service results for company accounting, client analysis, freelance income tracking, etc.
1.3 This application is a simple household accounting tool and does not provide any financial services. The data analysis provided by the app is algorithm-generated as a reference only and does not constitute professional financial advice. Users are responsible for making their own decisions regarding consumption.
1.4 Minors must obtain consent from their legal guardian before using the Services.
2. Definitions3.1 Users may only use the Application within the following scope:
- Solely for personal household financial management; use for profit or provision to third parties is prohibited.
- Copying, reverse engineering, or modifying the Application is prohibited.
3.2 The Services are provided free of charge, but users shall bear their own communication costs.
3.3 The Company may change or suspend the Services without prior notice. Relevant information will be posted in-app, and users are responsible for checking such updates.
4. Modifications to the Agreement4.1 The Company may amend this Agreement as necessary. Changes will be announced in-app or on the official website and take effect 14 days after announcement.
4.2 Continued use of the Services after modifications shall be deemed acceptance of the changes.If the user does not agree to the changes, they may stop using the service and delete their account.
4.3 For significant changes (e.g., introduction of a paid model), the Company will notify users in-app. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the changes.
5. Registration5.1 Users must provide a valid email address and identity verification information during registration.
5.2 Users shall ensure the truthfulness and accuracy of the information provided. The Company bears no responsibility for losses caused by false information.
5.3 Each user may register only one account. Account lending or transfer is prohibited.
5.4 The Company may suspend or delete accounts under the following circumstances:
- Violation of the prohibited activities specified in Clause 9.1;
- Inactivity for over 12 consecutive months.
6. Account Deletion6.1 Users may delete their accounts through the in-app path: "Settings" → "Account Management" → "Account Deletion Process."
6.2 Once deleted, account data and financial records cannot be restored. Users should back up their data before deletion.
6.3 Account Deletion During Free Trial(if any):
7.1 Service Provided "As Is": While the Company will make reasonable efforts to ensure stability and security, it does not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or suitability of the Services for specific purposes. Users are responsible for their use of the Services and any resulting consequences.
7.2 Limitation of Liability: Except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence, the Company shall not be liable for:
7.3 Third-Party Service Disclaimer: The Company is not responsible for any content or services provided by third-party websites (e.g., banks) accessed through the Application.The terms of use for third-party services are separately determined by the respective service providers, and our company does not guarantee their content, accuracy, or availability.
8. SeverabilityIf any part of this Agreement is found to be invalid due to legal reasons, the remaining provisions shall remain effective. The invalid part shall be replaced with valid provisions that most closely reflect the original intent, within the bounds of the law.
9. Supplementary Provisions9.1 Prohibited Activities
9.2 Intellectual Property: The copyright and trademark rights of the Application belong to the Company. Users may only use the Application content within the scope explicitly authorized.
9.3 Privacy Policy: User information will be handled according to the "Privacy Policy" and used solely for financial analysis and service improvement. Information may only be shared with third parties upon the user's explicit consent. Payment-related data (e.g., payment methods, transaction history) will be used solely for billing and customer support purposes and not for marketing.
10. Fees and Payment10.1 Some features of the Services are paid. Users may choose to subscribe based on their needs.
10.2 Details of subscription plans, including content, pricing, and applicable duration, will be clearly indicated in-app or on the official website and may be adjusted periodically.
10.3 Payment methods include Apple ID, Google Play account, or other methods designated by the Company, in accordance with platform billing policies.
10.4 Once payment is completed, users are deemed to have agreed to the subscription terms. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise provided by law or explicitly stated by the Company. Users should carefully read subscription terms before payment.
10.5 After the free trial ends, if the user does not cancel the subscription before expiry, the plan will automatically convert to a paid plan and fees will be charged via the original payment method.
10.6 If payment fails due to account issues, platform restrictions, or credit card problems, the Company reserves the right to suspend or limit related services.
10.7 If abnormal payments occur due to system errors or double charges, and such cases are confirmed, the Company will issue refunds within reasonable limits.
11. User Responsibilities11.1 Users are responsible for ensuring the security of their account information and for all actions taken via their account.
11.2 Users may not use the Services to engage in illegal, defamatory, harassing, or rights-infringing behavior.
11.3 If a user discovers unauthorized account access or security risks, they must notify the Company immediately. While the Company will provide assistance, it assumes no liability for damages incurred.
12. Termination of Service12.1 The Company reserves the right to discontinue all or part of the Services when necessary, including but not limited to due to technical changes, business restructuring, or regulatory adjustments.
12.2 In the event of complete termination, the Company will notify users in advance via in-app announcements and make reasonable efforts to assist in data backup or refund processing (if applicable).
13. Copyright of Content13.1 If the information and other content related to household finances that the user posts or edits through this service constitute copyrighted works, the copyright of such works shall belong to the user. However, the Company or third parties authorized by the Company may use the information related to household finances and other content posted or edited through this service worldwide, non-exclusively and free of charge, after taking measures to prevent personal identification on the Company's affiliated websites or other media and services, or other measures required by the Company. The user shall not exercise moral rights regarding the use of copyrighted works by the Company or third parties authorized under this clause.
13.2 Except for the copyrights specified in the preceding paragraph, the copyrights and other rights related to content associated with this service belong to the Company. Without permission, the user shall not copy, screen, publicly transmit, distribute, transfer, lend, translate, adapt, or use content related to this service.
14. Governing Law and JurisdictionThese terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. In the event of any litigation arising between the service and the user concerning these terms, the Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
